Our Cote D'Or bundle is inspired by the iconic region of Burgundy in central France. Enjoy a bottle of 'Macon Villages' and a gorgeous scented candle inspired by the region. The Muse:
In the heart of France lies the region of Burgundy where the sun kissed slopes of the Cote D'or are home to some of the world's finest Chardonnay.

An elegant and complex bouquet that combines the natural aromas of perfectly ripe grapes, nashi pear and green apple with sweet florals of lily, freesia and honey blossom, on a base of of vanilla oak and sandalwood -notes infused into this regions wines from lightly toasted French barriques.

Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla Oak, Davana

The Wine: Stefane Aviron Macon-Villages 2018

The marvellous wines of Macon-Villages may just be some of the best-value whites in all of Burgundy – and this treasure from Stéphane Aviron shows exactly why, delivering flavour and quality for a similarly tasty price! 

Stéphane Aviron is based on southern Burgundy and makes some our fave wines in the region of Beaujolais; so it was only natural that he reached further north into the Mâconnais, the source of some of the best value wines that this prestige wine region has to offer.


This particular Mâcon wine is fresh yet full, a lovely Chardonnay with delicate peach flavours on the nose and palate and crisp, fresh acidity. It’s lighter than many of its counterparts, but a long, slow fermentation gives a pleasant richness on the palate with flavours of golden apple, fresh hay and white blossom alongside a refreshing touch of stony minerality.
